In this catalogue GMC provides information about artists and/or groups that work and live in Finland - whose repertoire is world, ethno, folk or traditional - other than traditional or contemporary Finnish folk music. In each section you can also find link where is listed contacts to musicians who like to teach.We try and update the catalogue as well as possible - however when you notice non-functioning contacts for example, please do let us know. Also, should you know about musicians/groups in Finland who are not yet in this catalogue do let them or us know. What we need to know about them is this.

Artists please notice: Global Music Centre together with our partners in Norway, Sweden and Denmark have created a catalogue where you can find clubs, festivals, concert houses etc that book world music in the Nordic countries (except for Iceland for time being). Please use this catalogue when trying to sell gigs. Gateway to Nordic organizers can be found on the English version of the web-page of World Music Denmark www.worldmusic.dk
