Ethno Finland pidetään 3.-12.7.2023 Kaustisella. Se on suunnattu (noin) 16–30-vuotiaille nuorille muusikoille ympäri maailman. Leirillä suomalaiset ja ulkomaiset osanottajat opettavat ja jakavat toisilleen musiikkia omasta kulttuuristaan. Leiri järjestetään jo kahdeksatta kertaa Suomessa!
Workshoppien lisäksi ohjelmassa on mm. jameja, saunomista ja yhteisiä illanviettoja ja esiintymisiä. Kurssi esiintyy Kaustinen Folk Music Festivalilla ja leirin jälkeen on mahdollisuus jäädä festivaalille koko viikoksi 16.7. saakka.
Leirin mentorit/ohjaajat ovat Allan Skrobe (SWE/CRO) ja Veera Kuisma (FIN). Leirin pääkieli on englanti, mutta pienelläkin kielitaidolla pärjää musiikin täyttämällä kurssilla! Osallistua voi millä tahansa soittimella ja taitotason vaatimuksia ei ole. Leiri pidetään Kaustisen Järvelän koululla.

We are calling for young musicians from all over the world to join us and to share their music and culture!
Ethno Finland is a global music gathering (music camp) aimed at young folk musicians (aged around 16-30) all over the world. In the camp, the participants teach each other music from their own countries and cultures with the help of the mentors of the camp. The mentors are Allan Skrobe (SWE/CRO) and Veera Kuisma (FIN).
In Ethno Finland you’ll enjoy the bright brilliant music around the world in a cozy atmosphere with around 25 participants, not forgetting the jam sessions, sauna and other evening activities in the land of the Midnight-Sun.
Ethno Finland will be organized for the eighth time in Finland from 3rd to 12th of July 2023 + the festival until 16th of July. It takes place in Kaustinen, central part of Finland. Ethno Finland ends with its final concerts at Kaustinen Folk Music Festival on 10th and 11th of July. Participants are also welcome to stay the whole festival week until 16th of July.
